McTavish Quilting Studio
New Location in Biwabik!
We are excited to announce that McTavish Quilting Studio has moved to a new, single-level space in Biwabik!
We are currently setting up the studio and gearing up for our Grand Opening on November 1, 2026. Our primary focus will be quilting for hire and longarm rentals, and we are prioritizing getting our machines ready for our quilting customers and renters. While we won't have an online store, we will offer a selection of fabrics and kits in-person.We look forward to sharing more details soon and welcoming you to the new space. Thank you for your continued support!
Warm regards,
Karen & Cheryl

A Personal Update
I also want to share a personal update. I am living with hypertrophic olivary degeneration (HOD), a rare condition affecting movement and coordination that causes tremors, balance difficulties, and slower speech. After a year of therapy without significant change, I am adapting to these new circumstances. Everything at the studio will continue as before, just at a slightly slower pace. Because of ongoing medical appointments, our operating hours may vary, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
